17/7 數碼港有機蔬果推廣日 organic vegetables @ cyberport
17/7的推展日，我們當日一清早就特意到元朗運來有機新鮮蔬果介紹給南區的街坊，一籃籃的新鮮蔬果吸引了不少街坊留步參觀選購。當中以時令的粟米、茄子最受歡迎，不少街坊在試食過有機粟米後都讚不絕口。另外街坊對一些少見的蔬果，如白茄子和秋葵(又名潺茄、毛茄)都感到十分好奇。看到街坊對有機蔬果的鍾愛，我們亦感到十分高興，在其餘兩日(24,31/7)的推展日我們會繼續為大家帶來更多有機蔬果。

有機食物都有出世紙？ Organic Food also has Birth Certificate?
2004年起本地農場可經香港有機資源中心認證有限公司審核，並取得認證，只要認著此標誌便能確定有關農產品是有機種植出來的。明愛城市農夫有機農場已成功取得相關認證，保證作物含不少於95%有機材料。當然，從成立之初已一直提供支援的漁農署，早已傳授了有機耕種的法門給我們！

原來一架貨機每秒鐘需要五公升燃油來推動升空。支持本地生產，減少碳排放保護地球。我們主要供應來源是位處元朗逢吉鄉的「明愛城市農夫有機農場」。該農場由全職農夫每天24小時悉心打理，保證時令蔬菜即日採摘。

薄扶林村有機耕種隊 Pokfulam Organic Farmers
薄扶林村為香港島上，碩果僅存的一條鄉村。村內人生活親近大地、河溪與樹木。可惜近世紀以來，都市化發展改變了山河，也改變了大家的生活。年青的人外出打工，老農耕不下去也沒有人接棒，令農地都荒廢了。
我們本著活化土地的希冀，邀請村內家庭主婦成立有機耕種隊，她們互助合作，重新開墾土地，推廣綠色生活。耕種隊亦在南區代理銷售有機蔬菜蘑菇，希望長遠能令村內有機農場自給自足，持續發展。
Pokfulam Village is one of the oldest villages in Hong Kong Island. The villagers have been good farmers generation after generation. It was rapid urbanization changed their living patterns. The stream has run dry, leaving barren farmland with no one to plow.
To vitalize the land and make our hearts alive! We invited a group of enthusiastic housewives to be “Pokfulam Organic Farmers”. They work together to build up a new farm in the village. They also sell organic vegetables and mushrooms in Southern District. All income will be saved to sustain the development of the farm.
